Backcountry Avalanche Safety

I joined Colorado State University’s NRRT 351: Wilderness Instructors with field day at Cameron Pass as a photographer, documenting hands-on training in backcountry safety and winter travel. From avalanche rescue scenarios and snow pit analysis to ski technique and uphill travel, I captured the balance of technical skill, decision-making, and real-world experience in the mountains.
